Mental Health Programmes for Schools
Staff Team Building & Leadership Training
Invest in your staff’s happiness to cultivate a supportive and thriving educational community where educators are supported and students are enthusiastic, engaged, and eager to learn.

Overcoming Obstacles to Happiness
A thriving, happy school is the ultimate goal for not only staff, but for parents wanting their children to receive an enjoyable experience throughout their education. Our staff programmes at Happiness Co provide educators with the skills and techniques necessary to tackle mental health challenges their students may be facing.
Unfortunately, some students may not have the support they need at home and often, an educator whom they trust is their best support network when facing difficulties. By fostering resilience and emotional wellbeing, school staff can profoundly shape the future of our youth, ensuring every student has the support they need to feel safe, allowing them to thrive at school.
Creating an Energetic Culture
Did you have a ‘grumpy teacher’ at your school growing up? Even now, you may remember how they impacted your school years…the dread of having their class coming up next on your schedule.
By fostering a positive, energetic workplace culture, staff can remain eager and passionate about educating their students with the essential skills to tackle life head on. They are the fundamental centrepieces of our children’s future, their happiness and wellbeing are crucial in nurturing a generation that is enthusiastic, engaged, and eager to learn.

Happiness, Productivity, & Engagement
Supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our school staff has a direct, positive impact on the happiness, productivity, and engagement of their students. Educators who feel content and valued will radiate positivity, creating an inviting learning environment. This warmth and support enhance students’ sense of security, sparking their natural curiosity and eagerness to engage fully in their educational journey. When educators thrive, their students do too!

Don’t Just Take Our Word For It
Brayden has been involved in a number of workshops over the years, with our School. His ability to connect with our students across various settings is invaluable. Brayden’s ability to establish rapport quickly is a strength of his presentations, where he brings a unique blend of humour and positivity that resonates deeply with our students. Recently, I invited him to speak with our Year 9 cohort, who were facing significant friendship issues and displaying unkind behaviour towards one another.
During his session, Brayden skilfully addressed these challenges, fostering an environment where students felt safe to express their feelings and concerns. His engaging approach not only lightened the mood but also encouraged open dialogue among the students. They responded positively to his insights and humour, which helped them reflect on their actions and consider the importance of kindness and empathy.
Brayden’s impact was evident as students began to shift their perspectives on friendship and support for one another. I wholeheartedly recommend him for any future engagements with our students; his ability to connect and inspire is truly exceptional. I look forward to a continued partnership with Brayden, where he compliments the outcomes we are trying to achieve with our wellbeing program.

Brayden was engaging from the very beginning. Our students come from all walks of life, from all cultures, some come to us very disengaged and having suffered trauma backgrounds. Yet, with all that diversity, they all walked out of our Auditorium affected by Brayden’s workshop and feeling his words. Some even ‘stormed’ the stage wanting to meet him! Sometimes lived experience talks can be triggers for students but Brayden delivered his truth in an accessible way which provided food for thought to all who attended, staff included. We are grateful to Happiness Co and the RAC for providing such a service and will definitely have Brayden back.
Kind regards,
Armanda Di Toro
Year 11 Coordinator
Brayden was an incredibly engaging speaker and really reached out to the students. After having many chats with my students after the presentation, it was clear that they were chatting about all that was discussed and many were surprised that they liked it as much as they did. Brayden was authentic and resonated with so many of the students that it was hard not to be captivated.
I love all things social, emotional and well-being so I found this seminar just as useful as the students!
Great work,

Brayden’s presentation to our Year 11 cohort was extremely well received. His relaxed and personable manner made for an engaging session where girls were able to consider his own personal story with informative activities designed to get them thinking about the challenges of entering Year 12. The presentation allowed for personal reflection and provided opportunities to plan for the future. The feedback from our girls was overwhelmingly positive and we will no doubt be having Brayden return next year.

St Hilda's
Brayden attended our campus to deliver a workshop on self-esteem, authenticity and the impact this can have on making positive choices. He delivered 3 workshops to different classes throughout the day and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive from both students and teachers. He was engaging and related well to all of the students, motivating them to get involved in the activities. The workshop was well-aligned with our curriculum and gave another perspective on an important topic for our students. I will be booking this incursion again for next year.

Brayden was a great presenter, who engaged 150 Year 10 students with a meaningful presentation. I believe all students took away something from the talk. It was relevant, interactive and enjoyed by everyone in the room.
Thanks

I had the pleasure of attending a presentation by Brayden from the Happiness Co and I can’t say enough good things about it! Brayden was able to capture the student’s attention with his infectious enthusiasm and positive energy.
Brayden’s presentation was not only informative but also entertaining. He kept us all engaged with his humour and relatable stories, while still managing to provide practical tips on how to cultivate happiness and well-being in our daily lives.
I highly recommend getting Brayden and the Happiness Co to present at your school. Very age-appropriate content and left the students with helpful take home points.

Wellbeing & Mental Health
Our educators are on the front lines of shaping young minds, and their mental health and wellbeing are crucial not only for their own quality of life but for the effectiveness of our education system. At Happiness Co, we emphasise on creating a safe school environment, where staff feel truly supported and safe. This involves implementing comprehensive strategies such as:
Stress Management Resources
Providing staff with the tools and techniques to manage stress effectively ensures that teachers can remain focused, energised, and positive during challenging times.
Anti-Bullying Policies
and Procedures
Ensuring that schools are safe spaces for educators as well as students is vital. Clear, actionable policies against bullying create an environment of respect and dignity.
Work-Life
Balance
Encouraging a healthy work-life balance helps to prevent burnout. Supporting staff who may be dealing with personal challenges is vital for workplace happiness.
Open Communication Channels
Fostering an atmosphere where educators feel comfortable voicing their concerns is vital. Regular check-ins and an open-door policy assist in creating a positive environment.
Creating such an environment ensures that educators do not just ‘survive’ their workday but head home every day feeling positive and fulfilled, knowing they are supported and valued in their roles in educating our future generation.
Evolving Your School
From Functional to Flourishing
Our staff programmes at Happiness Co are designed to transform schools by prioritising wellbeing, boosting morale, and enhancing overall happiness. A positive, joyful environment not only increases happiness among staff and students but also elevates students’ performance, transforming your school from merely functioning to truly flourishing.
